H.H.H Horse Medicine D.D.T 1868
Applied top, 1870s, about 7". This is the rare mold of the popular H.H.H. horse medicine bottle with the medicine being misspelled as 'Medecine'.

Pratt's New Life A.M. McBoyle & Co
This is a top example of the Pratt's New Life. Dug in Carson City in 2009, this is one of the very few not found at the Big Dig. The only way it could be better is if it was blue! Full of crudity with swirls, bubbles, and a little bit of slag, this is probably the crudest example known. There is a tiny potstone on the reverse shoulder, see photos.

Porcelain cork stoppers circa 1900-1910. Both in good shape, no issues. One reads: "Milwaukee Brewery of San Francisco. Golden State Beer". The other, "Valley Brew Stockton Cal. Awarded Medal World's Fair 1904"

Wm. H Spears & Co. Old Pioneer Whiskey A Fenkhausen & Co Sole Agents S.F.
This is a classic Western whiskey 5th known as the 'One Name Bear'. These 5ths often have weak strikes, but this example has a strong strike with nice light crudity and bubbles throughout. It's been a while since an example this nice has been offered to the public!

J.H. Cutter Old Bourbon Trade Mark C.P. Moorman Manufacturer Louisville. K.Y. A No 1 Cutter
The A No. 1 Cutter is one of the rarest of the many Western Cutter whiskey 5th. While at first you may confuse it with the much more common O.K. Cutter, there are subtle variations, mainly the the embossing inside the circle on the front that reads "Cutter A No. 1 Whisky". This example is loaded with whittle in a pleasing medium to light amber. Unfortunately there is a fingernail bruise on the inside of the lip. Thomas # 40.

Old Gilt Edge Bourbon Wichman & Lutgen Sole Agents San Francisco
Here's a tough Western 5th. This is the rarest Gilt Edge 5th that is missing the "& Co" between Wichman & Lutgen and Sole Agents. This example is a pleasing lighter amber with a drippy applied top and nice stretch marks in the neck. It appears to be in as dug condition with nice clean glass and no issues. This is a beautiful German red whittled variant of the Wolters Brothers 5th. There is a small in making dimple on the left front above the embossing. No issues.

Choice Old Cabinet Bourbon Crane Hastings & Co Sole Agents San Francisco
This Choice Old Cabinet 5th was dug in Santa Cruz, California back in the 1980s. These are notorious for weak strikes, but this example has a solid strike and crude seedy glass with a large top. Thomas # 31.

J.H. Cutter Old Bourbon C.P. Moorman Manufacturer Louisville K.Y. A.P. Hotaling & Co Sole Agents Bird Cutter
Another one of the popular Cutter 5ths known as the 'Bird Cutter'. After over 50 years of Western bottle collecting it is still not known what the bird signifies. Many bird Cutters have weak strikes and no color, but this standout example not only has a strong strike, but a great light amber color with a dash of olive. This example appears to have been professionally cleaned and maintains some extremely light stain inside the mouth and around some of the embossing.

With an embossed image of a judge, these are very popular Western 5ths. This applied top example is just loaded with whittle from head to toe! No issues.
