1870s, applied top. This is an extremely rare mold of the the variant 2 I.X.L Bitters with the circle. This variant has the flat base punt, similar to Western blown wines, and is seldom seen. The color on this example is a rich fire aqua and the top and neck are extremely crude with an unusually pinched and deformed construction. See photos.
