1870s, applied top. This is one of the West's most iconic bottles featuring an image of Sutter's Mill where gold was discovered in 1848. These bottles are coveted by collectors of all kind for their head to toe unique and interesting embossing. This is believed to be the top example of this bottle with loads of whittle and a few strong amber streaks in the neck and shoulder.
