A. Grimm's Rejuvenator For The Hair San Francisco
1865-1866. A rare 1860s medicine most people have not seen with approximately 5 known examples in collections. An early Western blown bottle that was advertised in 1865 and 1866 only. Interestingly, Adam Grimm was in business from 1863 all the way through the 1906 Earthquake until 1915, what a run! This example has nice clean glass with a very large and crude applied top.Lot # 163

Applied top, circa 1866-1874. Here is a rare Western med that is seldom seen. There are only two other Western medicines with a similar shape, the Eureka Hair Restorer, and the M.A Ragsdale, both in the same late 1860s to early 1870s timeframe. 1870s, applied top. Here is a rare and early citrate from San Francisco. This is the Western blown variant of the Wakelees citrate with the knife edge top. This is the rarest of the Wakelees citrates and is roughly 10-20x rarer than the most commonly seen English blown variant with the blob top.Lot # 165
