Air-Tight Fruit Jar
Circa 1850s-1860s, 7 1/8", quart, iron pontil. An interesting barrel shaped jar with an applied wax sealer top and some light whittle.
Globe Jar
1880s-1890s, 8", quart, 3 on base. A nice Globe jar in a straw yellow color. One small 1/4" chip on the outside of the ground lip. The color is a touch less straw and a little more yellow than the photo shows.
Lightning Trade Mark
Circa 1880s-1890s, 5 7/8", pint, Putnam 73 on base. A solid yellow color with a splash of green and a decent amount of whittle. There is a 3/4" interior bubble which contains a circular stress crack, confined to the surface of the bubble, see photos.

Circa 1880s-1890s, 7 1/4", quart, Putnam 338 on base. A nice citron yellow with lots of whittle. A 1/2" exterior open bubble on the edge of the base and large partially open interior open bubble, see photos.
Mason's Patent Nov 30th 1858
Circa 1880s-1890s, 6 7/8", quart. A heavily whittled golden amber Mason. An area of chipping on the ground lip and some glass stuck to the interior of base, see photos.
Mason's Patent Nov 30th 1858 Cross
Circa 1880s-1890s, 7", quart, PAT NOV 26 67 and 53 on base. A beautiful yellow green Mason with a generous dose of whittle. 1" interior open bubble in the shoulder, see photos.
Cathedral Pepper Sauce
Circa 1850s, 8 5/8", hexagonal, open pontil. An extremely rare pepper sauce and possibly the only recorded amber example in this mold. Another bottle dug in downtown Sacramento during the 1960s redevelopment era. There is some extremely faint, spotty exterior patina, a few shallow micro-flashes in the neck measuring about 1/16" to 1/8" that can be seen only at the right angle with sufficient light, and two tiny 1/16" pecks to the edge of one panel near the waist, all exceedingly minor and mentioned only for the utmost accuracy. Some dirt remains on the inside. The exceptionally large open pontil is a striking manufacturing characteristic that adds tremendous eye appeal. A remarkable opportunity to acquire what is likely the only recorded amber example of this style pepper sauce.
Keyhole Pepper Sauce
Circa 1850s, 9 5/8", iron pontil. An incredibly rare and desirable pepper sauce. Virtually all known examples of the Keyhole pepper sauces have been found in California. These bottles are known in aqua, green, and olive amber, with this beautiful green example displaying excellent eye appeal. This bottle has light whittle and a fully intact iron pontiled base. There are some substantial chips on the lip of the bottle, see photos. While not perfect, it remains an important rarity that any serious food bottle collector should consider.
