Wormser Bros. San Francisco
1870s. These early San Francisco flasks come in a myriad of colors, this example being a nice light color, nearly yellow when viewed in natural light. A great bottle that pops in a color run. A few spots of wear on the exterior, and a large interior bubble with some dirt and water trapped inside, but nothing major.
Lot # 49

$80.00
The Arlington M.A Linberg Prop. Bakersfield, Cal.
Tooled top, 1/2 pint. A rare pumpkinseed flask from Bakersfield, California. A great example with thin glass on the edges that turn almost yellow in light. Overall in great condition with just a touch of dirt on the inside and few harmless scuffs on the reverse. Cooling lines on the inside of the neck below the top that can be seen with a flashlight.
Lot # 50

$100.00
W.J. Sedberry Jefferson Tex.
Circa 1890s, tooled top, pint. An extremely rare coffin flask from the great state of Texas. No only is it rare, but it has a graphic of peach embossed on the bottle! There appears to be a potstone right in the middle of the peach with an associated crack as well as some faint exterior wear, patchy interior stain, and a tiny 1/16" bruise on the lip. The potstone area glows under blacklight so we believe that the San Francisco Bay dump the bottle was resting in may have contained chemicals that penetrated the glass. A total mystery, but that's the best we can come up with.
Lot # 51
