Circa 1888-1900, 11 1/4", tooled top. Manufactured by the Kalamazoo Fire Extinguishing Co. of Kalamazoo, Michigan. Its distinctive bulbous form makes it one of the more unusual nineteenth-century hand fire extinguishers, with period advertisements promoting its use in homes, factories, railroads, and steamboats. Cobalt blue, no issues.
