Summer 2026 Auction (August 07, 2026 7:00 AM PT - August 16, 2026 7:00 PM PT)

Circa 1845-1860, 7 1/4", iron pontil. A beautiful Boardman in a nice puce color with some light whittle. It appears to have been professionally cleaned, with some exterior wear remaining and small fisheyes common to sodas of this age. There is a small impact to the B in Boardman with about 1/8" of glass missing. Two potstones, one 1/8" and one 1/4", one in the neck and one in the body, both non-radiated. There is a chip on the underside of the lip about 1/4", with a smaller shallow sliver extending up the side of the lip, as well as an in-making crack about 3/4" long next to the iron pontil on the base. Not perfect, but a great looking soda.
