Circa 1840-1860, 6 5/8", open pontil. An extremely rare Wynkoop bottle with a partial label, about 35%. This is one of the two labeled Wynkoops found in an old abandoned Indiana gas station in the 1970s. If you look hard enough, you'll see remnants of the original medicine on the interior. Condition is fantastic, as you'd expect with never having been in the ground. A harmless in-making 'pontil chip' on base, see photos. Jeff Wichmann Collection.
