Circa 1850s, 9 1/2", iron pontil. A figural wine bottle with embossed grapes and grape leaves in a medium amber color. This bottle was from the Hollywood plantation near Natchez, Miss. Great condition with just a small amount of interior content stain near the base that can be seen with enough light. A rare and desirable figural that doesn't come up very often.
