Circa 1850-1860, 9 5/8", open pontil. An extremely rare and interesting conical-shaped bitters that contained Ben Franklin Bitters. Named after the famed American statesman Benjamin Franklin, this bitters reflects the widespread use of patriotic and historical figures to market 19th-century patent medicines.
