Applied top, circa 1871-1876. Golden amber with light whittle and a strong strike, this is a great example of a classic San Francisco whiskey 5th known as the 'Circle Cutter'. These bottles start in the early 1870s and continue on through the 1890s. This example without 'A No. 1' on the reverse shoulder is the oldest variant.
