This the the large size Rosenbaums, circa 1863-1867. It's been awhile since a Rosenbaums in good shape has come up for sale. This example is a beautiful apricot amber with a hint of olive and everything going for it! The majority of Rosenbaums examples have issues, ranging from checks to cracks, but this one is problem free and appears to be uncleaned in as found condition. The body of the bottle has some light amber swirls, and the neck some stretch marks. A strong strike, and nice heavy glass, a truly top example of 1860s Western blown glass! There is a tiny white line on the top of the top, likely a surface bubble that may have opened, see photos.
