9.5", half gallon, ground lip, S 9 on base. Lid embossed: Patented May 25 1886. A beautiful example of a Globe in a light butterscotch amber (much lighter in natural light). In addition to the great color, there is a slight two-tone shade with areas of lighter glass. A few small manufacturing flakes on the lip. Moderate corrosion to the bail.
