Applied top, early 1870s. Here is a legendary Western whiskey 5th that nearly all Western collectors love. This example has a very strong strike and some nice light whittle. Unfortunately there are several small surface crushes throughout the body of the bottle, a repair on the edge of the base measuring about 1" long and 1/4" wide, and much smaller repair, about 1/8" under the S in Agents. The upper half of the top at the ring has also been replaced. Even with the repairs, this bottle displays very well and is a great opportunity for anyone that's always wanted an amber horse!
