Tooled top. There are a few molds on the tooled Phoenix Old Bourbon 5ths, but this is the earliest of them all. This is the same mold as the earlier applied top examples, circa late 1880s. In a nice medium amber with a bold strike and the famous Phoenix rising from the ashes, this is a great Western 5th! No issues, with a little bit of dirt left on the inside.
