Gold Dust Kentucky Bourbon John Van Bergen & Co. Sole Agents
Applied top, early 1870s. Here is a legendary Western whiskey 5th that nearly all Western collectors love. This example has a very strong strike and some nice light whittle. Unfortunately there are several small surface crushes throughout the body of the bottle, a repair on the edge of the base measuring about 1" long and 1/4" wide, and much smaller repair, about 1/8" under the S in Agents. The upper half of the top at the ring has also been replaced. Even with the repairs, this bottle displays very well and is a great opportunity for anyone that's always wanted an amber horse! Thomas # 154.

Unembossed Ladies Leg
This is what Western collectors call the 'Mushroom top' ladies leg. There are a few molds with this top, some Eastern blown, and some likely Western blown. This example could be Western blown, but we're just not sure. Regardless, the color on this example is a stunning emerald green with a touch of teal mixed in. Regardless of its origin, it will add depth to any unembossed color run. Very good condition with a few tiny flea bites or minor surface crushes.

This will be a pleasant addition to any unembossed bottle run and just looks incredible in natural light.
