J.H. Cutter Circle Cutter
Early 1870s. This is the first variant of the J.H. 'Circle' Cutter with the plain reverse missing the A. No. 1. This is a truly top example full of whittle and champagne bubbles with a strong strike in a nice old amber color. There is a small flake off the top edge of the lip, see photos. One of the nicest examples of this Cutter we've seen.

Mid to late 1870s. Another Circle Cutter, this time the second variant with the A No 1 on the shoulder. A nice medium amber with a good strike and no issues.

1870s, pointed A first variant. Here is a beautiful green J.F. Cutter 5th. There is a small surface ping above the U in Bourbon, and the top above the ring has been replaced, but given the outstanding color, still a great bottle that would light up an whiskey run!

Circa 1870s-80s. A nice darker than average 'Bird' Cutter with a solid strike. Nice clean glass with light crudity, better than most, but there is a small bruise on the edge of the top of the lip, 1/8", see photos.

1880s, applied top. Here is a nice bright vented Jesse 5th with great glass character and a nice early looking applied top. If you look closely in backlight, you'll see some light swirling.

Simmond's Nabob (picture) KY Bourbon Whiskey
1880s, applied top. A rare San Francisco whiskey 5th with an incredible embossing pattern. This is the much rarer Western blown variant that has "K.Y. Bourbon" slugged on. This variant is 3-4x rarer than the German blown red whittle examples. This example was found in Lake Tahoe in the 1980s and is one of the best examples we've seen with clean Western glass loaded with champagne bubbles. It would be difficult to find a better picture Nabob.

1870s, applied top. One of the most iconic Western whiskey 5ths, popular in the Comstock area of Nevada. This example has a very strong strike and loads of whittle. A very strong example!

1880s, tooled top. Here is a rare and extremely desirable Washington Territory whiskey 5th from Seattle with a graphic of a Native American in a canoe. This example is in fantastic condition with clean glass and no stain. There is a minuscule prick on the edge of the top, and two small bruises on the reverse base edge. Overall a great looking territorial bottle that stands out on the shelf.
