1850s, iron pontil. Here is an extremely early Gold Rush soda in a medium cobalt blue. There is some very light scuffing and some minimal pitting on the exterior, but overall a very strong example of an early soda with much less case wear than expected.

Circa 1850s. A beautiful Gold Rush torpedo soda with 'Benicia' effect that was dug at the site of the Transamerica pyramid in the 1960s in downtown San Francisco.

Circa 1900. Here's a rare bottle, and only one of the few cod bottles from California. This particular example is from San Diego, CA and dates to right around the turn of the 20th century. Some light case wear, but overall in good shape.
