Circa 1890s.Tooled top. A beautiful and classic whiskey bottle with great embossing. This example is in very good condition with essentially no issues.

Tooled top, 1890s. Here is a nice and clean example of a Bear Grass 5th with a great graphic of a bear's head. Some extremely faint interior haze, and maybe a light scuff or two on the reverse. Barnet # 75.

Tooled top, 1890s. A beautiful San Francisco whiskey 5th with a great graphic. This example is in great condition with extremely clean glass with a slight yellow tint (compared to other clear whiskies). A minuscule peck on the ring of the lip, see photos.

Tooled top, 1890s. A scarce tooled 5th in a slightly squattier shape. Clean glass and no issues.

Tooled top, 1890s. Here is a popular San Francisco 5th just loaded with great embossing. Medium amber, a few harmless surface scuffs, likely from being found. Barnet # 637.

Cartan, McCarthy & Co. San Francisco

Tooled top, circa 1905. An interestingly shaped T.O.C whiskey 5th from San Francisco. No issues, with a slightly leaning neck.

Lilienthal & Co Distillers

Circa 1870s-80s, pint. A scarce Western flask put out by the prolific Lilienthal company. This example is a nice light amber with some light whittle. There is some very faint surface scuffing on the reverse, see photos.

Circa 1870s-80s, pint. A scarce Western flask put out by the prolific Lilienthal company. This example has a small 1/4" check in the rear near base and another 1/16" check above it. There is another check higher up on the shoulder and one on the edge of the base. Also a small peck on the edge of the lip. All are very minor, and the bottle displays well.

Circa 1870s-80s. A half pint Lilienthal. This example has a 1/4" check on the front to the right of the embossing.

1890s, tooled top. A nice honey amber Phoenix half pint in great condition. There is a minuscule peck on the top of the lip, but it appears to be a result of manufacturing.

Circa 1870s. A scarce flask from Savannah, Georgia. This one is hammer whittled and likely the top example with beautiful clean glass. No issues.

Circa 1850s, open pontil, sheared top. A classic historical flask in great condition with very little wear.

Circa 1850s, 8.75", iron pontil, sheared top, pint. Some light interior stain. A tiny 1/16" peck on the shoulder, too small to photograph.

Circa 1850s-60s, applied top, open pontil, 7.5". A nice clean flask with an interesting design.

Unembossed New England Flask

Circa 1860s-1870s, applied top, smooth base. A nice unembossed pint flask, likely of New England manufacture. Heavy whittle in a nice medium amber with two shallow open bubbles on the shoulders.
