A.W. Cudworth & Co San Francisco Cal

1850s, iron pontil. A nice lighter green Cudworth with extremely light case wear and nice light bubbles. One shallow open bubble next to the H and a small 1/8" flake off the edge of the base. Overall a very strong example of a pontiled Cudworth.

The Excelsior Water

1850s, iron pontiled. Here is a great example of the Excelsior Water that is just loaded with whittle and a slightly crooked top. Probably the nicest Excelsior we've seen.

Boley & Co Sac City Cal

1850s, iron pontiled. An early Gold Rush soda from the supply town of Sacramento. A very strong example with some great bubbles. There are two scratches on the exterior, and a minor manufacturing check in the pontil, see photos.

Eagle Soda

1850s, Iron pontiled and medium green with an embossed Eagle, these are believed to be a Sacramento bottle. Nice whittle with medium case wear.

B & G San Francisco Superior Mineral Water

1850s, iron pontil. A popular Gold Rush mug base soda from San Francisco. This example is in solid condition with the typical wear seen on sodas this age. A small area of roughness next to the B appears to be some form of a bubble under magnification.

W.H. Burt San Francisco

1850s, iron pontil. An early Gold Rush soda always popular with collectors. This example is in very good condition with just a few of the usual nicks found on pontiled sodas.

Lynde & Putnam Mineral Waters San Francisco Cal. A / Union Glass Works Philada

1850s, iron pontil. Here is an extremely early Gold Rush soda in a medium cobalt blue. There is some very light scuffing and some minimal pitting on the exterior, but overall a very strong example of an early soda with much less case wear than expected.

Chase & Co Mineral Water San Francisco Cal

Circa 1850s, iron pontil. A nice green Chase with minimal case wear. Ther is a small 1/8" bruise on the bottom of a bubble near the base, see photos.

Torpedo Soda 'Benicia Effect'

Circa 1850s. A beautiful Gold Rush torpedo soda with 'Benicia' effect that was dug at the site of the Transamerica pyramid in the 1960s in downtown San Francisco.

G. Andrae Port Huron Mich.

Circa 1880s, tooled top. A nice cobalt hutch from Port Huron, MI. This example has the usual case wear and some small surface fish-eyes, but no major chips or issues.

California Gazosa Works

Circa 1900. Here's a rare bottle, and only one of the few cod bottles from California. This particular example is from San Diego, CA and dates to right around the turn of the 20th century. Some light case wear, but overall in good shape.

T. Shone (Nevada)

Circa 1890s. A scarce hutch from Winnemucca, Nevada. This example has a large amber streak on the reverse. There is a small 1/8" peck on the edge of the lip, see photos.

Hanford Soda Works J.S.

Circa 1890s. A scarce hutch from Hanford, CA. This example has the original stopper inside (along with some dirt). All we can find is one tiny peck on the R in Hanford.

S.L.O. Soda Water S Ceribelli

1870s-80s, applied top. Here is a top example Ceribelli gravitator just loaded with bubbles of varying size and a few amber swirls. There is a very small flake off the top of the lip, see photos.

S.L.O. Soda Works L. Albert

Circa 1890s. A scarce hutch from the Central Coast town of San Luis Obispo. This example is in very good shape, with just some wear around the edge of the base. See photos.

O. Tullmann's Mineral Water Works S.L.O

1890s. A scarce hutch from San Luis Obipso. This example is in great shape with nice light whittle and no stain. OT monogram embossed on base.

B.B.W. San Rafael

1890s. A rare soda from Marin County. A solid example with no issues, just a small patch of scuffing on the reverse (likely from being dug.)

Klammer & Malz San Rafael Cal.

Circa 1900. Another rare hutch from Marin County. This example is in solid condition with very faint interior stain and a tiny bruise on the edge of the lip, and two on the edge of the base. All are minor, see photos.

New York Bottling Works Los Angeles

1890s. A top example of the New York hutch from Los Angeles with no wear or stain. N.Y.B.W on base.

Los Angeles Soda Works (star)

1880s, tooled top. An older hutch from Los Angeles with an embossed star on the front and base. Nice clean glass with no issues.
